Kristen StewartOh to be a fresher again

Considering Kristen Stewart has been a bit of a mega star ever since she starred in Panic Room at the ripe old age of 12 and made us all wonder if she was actually a boy or a girl (you are lying to yourself if you say you didn't), it's easy to see why she hasn't had much time for the public education system.

Well, it looks like K-Stew's been watching a few too many college romcoms, because she's decided to enrol herself in university to enjoy the wonders of freshman life on top of her regular celeb schedule.

Yep, it seems the promise of forever-unwashed clothes and weeks of only eating cereal has enticed Kristen into the arms of UCLA to study English Literature - while she's still pretty busy being a famous actress at the same time.

A source has told the Daily Mirror: “Yes, Kristen’s a Tinseltown actress worth millions but she is already considering a life after film. She never got to complete college and she wants to get a proper education. She is a voracious reader and cannot wait to get going on her correspondence course."

Kristen StewartGod, when we were at uni, we had trouble trying to make toast and shower in the same day let alone head off and do some acting for a massive film too. It's making us feel very lazy right about now.

The source added: “It won’t be easy and it will mean putting in some fairly strenuous hours. But once she’s graduated, Kristen will be able to do almost anything she wants, in or out of Hollywood.”

Call us skeptics, but we find it hard to believe K-Stew from Twilight and Rob Pattinson dating fame will be able to pick up a job as a book critic, or lecturer, or whatever it is people with English Literature degrees do without getting a few odd looks around the office. Although, a job at Sugarscape is always on the cards if she fancies it.

Many of Europe's governments may be skeptical about America's ambitious ballistic missile defense development program but their publics are not. A new study sponsored by advocates of BMD found that more than two-thirds of Europeans want NATO to deploy such systems to protect them.
Some 71 percent of Europeans favor the deployment of a NATO missile defense capability able to protect the continent from attack by missiles bearing weapons of mass destruction, according to a poll that was jointly sponsored by the George C. Marshall Center for Security Studies and Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance, the two organizations announced in Rome last week

Is there a vaccine to protect humans from H5N1 virus?
There currently is no commercially available vaccine to protect humans against the H5N1 virus that is being seen in Asia and Europe . However, vaccine development efforts are taking place. Research studies to test a vaccine to protect humans against H5N1 virus began in April 2005, and a series of clinical trials is underway. For more information about the H5N1 vaccine development process, visit the National Institutes of Health website.
